The numerous endemisms, including the Brassica drepanensis, the Euphorbia bivonae, the Hieracium cophanense and the Delphinium emarginatum, define the naturalistic value, especially in spring when it is possible to watch wild orchids bloom. These areas include lands of European interest, SIC and ZPS for the protection of birds. In fact, the peregrine falcon, the kestrel, the buzzard, the imperial raven, the wild dove and the common gull are allocated there.
